Research conducted by the university of Bristol based on today’s reality is that people are too busy and have often thought they would catch up on sleep at the weekends. The 552 people that participated in the study showed that a lack of sleep for just 30 minutes each day and sleeping longer at weekends gave them a 72% risk of obesity and other diseases.

People who have trouble sleeping for 6 months will significantly increase insulin – the cause of pre-diabetes and the risk of developing type II diabetes.
