Healthy salad recipe with celery and apple

Celery: 4 sticks
1 large green apple
Goat’s cheese: 100g
Chopped fresh chives: 1.5 tablespoons
Walnut halves, toasted, coarsely chopped: 35g
Lemon juice: 2 tablespoons
Creme fraiche: 2 tablespoons
Pinch of caster sugar

All you will do is just preparing the ingredients and mixing them all. So, you will need celery, chopped. Some apples, peel and chop them. Then you’ll have goat’s cheese. You can replace it with any other cheese you like. And half the walnut in a large bowl is also important. For wet ingredients, whisk crème fraiche, lemon juice, sugar and 1 tbs of chives in a bowl. Pour over the solid ingredients mixture and toss to combine them all. To garnish, sprinkle the mixture with remaining chives and walnut.

Fiesta bowl salad recipe

Black beans: 1/4 cup
Corn: 1/4 cup
Cherry tomatoes: 1/4 cup
Cubed avocados: 1/4 cup
Romaine lettuce: 2 cups
1/2 lime, juiced

First of all, prepare ¼ cup of canned black beans. In advance, rinse and drain them first. Then you will have avocado, chop it, drained canned corn, and chopped cherry tomatoes. If you don’t have cherry tomatoes, you can also use regular sized tomatoes. Then you need to prepare ½ fresh lime juice, and a little bit of salt to taste. Mix all of them.

The waldorf salad recipe

Chicken breast: 3 ounces
Lettuce: 2 cups

This salad is very easy to process. Dice apple, slice celery, grill chicken breast then slice it, toast almonds then chop it. The last thing you have to do is combining all ingredients into a dish.

Mostly not potato salad

Red-skinned potatoes: 1 pound, unpeeled, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
Green beans: 4 ounces, trimmed and sliced into 1-inch pieces
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and diced
Extra-firm tofu: 6 ounces, diced
Celery: 6 small stalks, trimmed and diced
Minced chives: 1 tablespoon
Chopped fresh dill: 1/4 cup
1 leek, trimmed and chopped
Whole-grain mustard: 2 tablespoons
Extra-virgin olive oil: 3 tablespoons
Red-wine vinegar: 2 tablespoons
Natural cane sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
Fine-grain sea salt

Prepare your potatoes. Boil the water in medium pot, add a pinch of salt. Add potatoes and cook them until tender. Don’t overcook it, limit the process in medium heat for about 10 minutes. 30 seconds before you take the potatoes, add green beats to the pot. Drain them all and let them cool.

For sour and sweets, prepare mustard, vinegar, 2 tbs olive oil (or you can change it with other oil), a little bit of sugar, a little bit of salt. Mix them all and whisk until blended.

Heat the oil on a pan in medium high heat. Saute leek and dill. Do this until they are brown.

Add potatoes and green beans, celery, cucumber, chives, tofu, and half of sauted leeks with the mustard dressing in a bowl. Add salt to taste. Garnish with the remaining nearly crispy leeks.

Avocado panzanella salad

Ciabatta loaf: 1/2 x 450g, cut into 2.5cm cubes
2 avocados: halved, cut into 3cm pieces
Punnet tomato medley: 400g, halved
1 Cucumber, halved, thickly sliced
Fetta: 180g, cut into 2cm pieces
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh basil leaves: 1 cup, torn
Fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves: 1/2 cup
Mixed pitted olives: 1 cup, sliced
Red wine vinegar: 1/4 cup
Olive oil: 1/4 cup

Prepare your grill on high. Add some bread on a baking tray. Sprinkle some olive oil. To taste, you can add pepper and salt. But if your bread is seasoned, you can consider about it. Then coat them with the tastes. Grill them for about 3 minutes until golden brown. Chill them out when done. Now, time to mix things up! The mixture ingredients: bread, avocado, olives, basil, getta, cucumber, onion and tomato. Combine them all. Add a little bit of vinegar to improve the acidity level. Pepper and salt. Don’t over taste it. Drizzle with dressing. Garnish with parsley.

Healthy salad recipe with quinoa, pumpkin and broad bean

Pumpkin: 750g, skin on, seeded, cut into 1cm-thick wedges
Dukkah: 2 teaspoons, plus extra to sprinkle
Quinoa: 195g , rinsed
Frozen broad beans: 350g
4 small radishes, sliced
Dried cranberries: 40g
2 celery sticks, sliced
Watercress: 1 small bunch, leaves picked
Pepitas: 2 tablespoons, lightly toasted
50g Persian marinated feta, plus 2 teaspoons oil from the jar
Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
Water: 435ml

Preheat your oven to 200 celcius degrees then place pumpkin on a baking tray, make sure that it is in a single layer. Spray the pumpkin with olive oil and sprinkle some dukkah on top of them. Roast them until tender. Bring to boil quinoa and water on a saucepan. Reduce the heat and simmer it for quarter hour or until the water is reduced. Make sure the quinoa is tender. Let it cool. In a saucepan, boil quarter cup of water, cook broad beans for 3 minutes or until tender. Drain and peel the skins. Toss all these items: broad beans, quinoa, celery, radish, cranberries, pepitas and watercess in a bowl. If you like, you can add lemon juice and olive/vegetable oil. Place pumpkin on your plate, add quinoa mixture. Sprinkle with remaining dukkah. And it’s done!

Healthy salad recipe with arugula and peach

Arugula: 10 cup
2 Green bell peppers
4 Peaches
Almond: 2/3 cup
Cayenne pepper: 1/8 teaspoon
Grated orange zest: 1/2 teaspoon
Fresh orange juice: 1 tablespoon
Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
White balsamic vinegar: 2 tablespoons
Salt: 1/4 teaspoon

Pit and slice peach into thin wedges. Finely chop green bell peppers. Put bell peppers, peaches, arugula and almonds into a large bowl then combine them.

Mix together orange zest, orange juice, vinegar, oil, cayenne and salt in separate bowl. Toss salad with dressing just before serving.
