Researchers have found that legumes is a good food to prevent breast cancer, women who eat them twice a week will have lower rates of developing breast cancer than women who eat less frequently. All kind of beans are good source of fiber but best of them may be black beans because their skin have high antioxidant. They may block the circulation of estrodiol which is a form of estrogen that risk for estrogen-driven breast cancer.
Blueberries. The antioxidant power of a food is measured in ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) units, blueberries rate the highest of all fruit and vegetable. Fresh blueberries contain strong antioxidants, they also have cancer-fighting chlorogenic acid and anti-inflammatory compounds. These anti-inflammatory compounds can be used for dampening the joint pain of arthritis, and they also are effective treatment for urinary-tract infections. Green Tea. Green tea is an excellent source of potent antioxidants and catechins. Some studies have showed that the women who drank green tea everyday had lower rates of breast cancer than others who did not drink.
Broccoli. Broccoli is rich in sulforophane, a compound that may strongly inhibit cancers. Some researches showed that sulforophanes stimulate cancer-fighting enzymes of the body. These enzymes can slow down the rate of breast cancer and prostate cancer cells growth.
Spinach. Spinach is very rich in lutein and betacarotene, both of them are powerful antioxidants. Some researches showed that the women who ate spinach twice a week or more had lower rates of breast cancer than others women who ate this vegetable rarely.

Salmon. Fish is rich in Omega-3 and protein. Salmon is also low in calories and it is good for keeping weight and slender physique. Beside keeping weight effect, salmon is good for cancer fighting. Some researches showed that postmenopausal women who ate 2 – 3 ounces of fish everyday had 25 percent lower rates of breast cancer than others who ate less seafood during the time of the study.
Sweet potatoes. They contain carotenoids which have functions as controlling the growth, help cell protection and regeneration, and prevent breast cancer effectively. The best way to avoid losing some nutrients in sweet potatoes is to boil or steam.
Flaxseeds. You can use flax seeds as the form of flaxseed coarse or flaxseed flour or flaxseed oil. The amount of omega-3 fatty acids, lignans and fiber substances of flaxseeds help to protect the healthy cells from the invasion and growth of breast cancer cells. Flaxseed usage is quite simple, just add them onto yogurt or use flaxseed oil for cooking other dishes or salads.
Garlic. Garlic is a food which has many benefits to help to protect the health of the body, especially the anti-cancer compound Allium. Garlic has proven to have the ability to slow the growth of tumors and prevent the risk of breast cancer and other cancers such as prostate cancer and colon cancer.
